Curriculum
By integrating ancient and modern wisdom and bridging the essence of both Chinese and Western cultures, Renze High School has developed its “integrated” curriculum system.
This system is structured around the principles of “localizing national curriculum, specializing school-developed curriculum, diversifying featured-curriculum”. It provides comprehensive and multi-channel development pathways, laying the foundation for students’ lifelong growth.

Core Curriculum
Students choose from three different levels - basic, advanced, and excellent - based on their academic abilities and interests in nine major subjects: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Politics, and Geography.

Enrichment Curriculum
Students independently select courses in four integrated or interdisciplinary fields - Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Humanities and Society, and Arts and Health - at three levels of interest, expertise, and specialization. These courses are personalized to support individual development.

Integrated Curriculum
Based on holistic education, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and skills development, the Integration Curriculum includes two major course clusters: Rende courses and Zeyuan courses. These courses enable students to acquire various skills and technologies through practice, deepen their understanding of knowledge, enhance creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, and foster a sense of social responsibility and mission. They aim to shape students’ perspectives on life, worldview, and values.
The school adopts small-class teaching and a course selection system, with no more than 25 students in each administrative class. The teacher-to-student ratio is between 1:4 and 1:5. The teaching and academic guidance teams will tailor curriculum plans for students based on their learning foundation, interests, dream schools, and target majors. Students can efficiently and purposefully learn with a focus on their future academic goals. The school promotes a “student-centered” teaching approach and ensures alignment between teaching and assessment. It places high importance on students’ positive emotional experiences, guiding them to focus on the real world, and understand the true value of learning. The school encourages students to apply their knowledge to solve real-world problems independently, fosters critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills, innovative practical wisdom, and a sense of social responsibility.
